I find inspiration in the layered facades of buildings, the thick tangle of city power lines, the apparent effects of time on the built environment, and other elements commonly found in my everyday surroundings.
I employ this visual vocabulary to create art work that details places that are nowhere in particular and yet are somehow familiar to most. By giving focus to the peripheral, I look to explore the complex in the common and comment on the condition of the spaces we all share.
